M & M technical Services, INC. provides a team of IT professionals to assist the U S Dept of Labor, Job Corps in establishing change control procedures, documentation, and an update methodology for developed software applications. Additionally, the team provides Web Content Management, Security augmentation, and Network System Administration augmentation services in Austin, TX.The team provides technical standards and acts as the first line of validation for all newly developed technologies in the Job Corp data center.
Permanent Backlog System (PBLS)
Foreign Labor Certification Program
M & M Technical Services, INC. built and maintained the Permanent Backlog System (PBLS) for the Department of Labor (DOL), Foreign Labor Certification Program. The PBLS is a web site (built with Cold Fusion and an Oracle database) that allows people to request employment in the U. S. The Employment applications are processed through the legal review system. If an applicant needs to re-apply the process starts again and is finally passed on to higher Judges if accepted.
The PBLS provided advanced capabilities to support the business needs and procedures of the Department of Labor (DOL), by monitoring the process, generating and creating reports, decreasing processing time, improving data accuracy and providing more useful information for the evaluation of applicants. The PBLS was developed to automate the processing of immigration labor requests.
M & M Technical Services, INC. provides full life cycle System Development, Quality Assurance, and Business Process Reengineering support for the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Foreign Labor Certification program.
M & M Technical Services, INC. provided Quality Engineering services to the two Backlog Elimination Centers (BECs). Additionally, we provided Cold Fusion WEB Application Development support for their BECs. We maintained and developed modules to enhance their Permanent Backlog System (PBLS) WEB based application system which supports their Foreign Labor certification process.
Pennsylvania Pilot System (PPS)
Standardized Performance Reporting
M & M Technical Services, INC. built the Pennsylvania Pilot System (PPS) for the Department of Labor (DOL), Employment & Training Administration (ETA). The PPS is a web site (built with Cold Fusion and an Oracle database) that allows employees of Veterans Employment Office to create quarterly performance reports for DOL management and evaluation. The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) identified M & M Technical Services, INC. as an outstanding contractor to develop the information system needed to standardize the quarterly reporting of the programs and projects funded by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).
The PA Pilot System (PPS) provides advanced capabilities to support the business needs and procedures of the Department of Labor (DOL), by enhancing reporting, decreasing processing time, improving data accuracy and providing more useful information for performance evaluation and financial management. The PPS is an amazing site with state of the art data validation on many levels.
