Lockheed Martin Corporation (Rockville)

M & M Technical Services, INC. provides systems engineering services to Department of Defense (DOD). We provides System/Network Engineering services for the FAA's Air Traffic Management System (ATM). M & M Technical Services, INC. created business case analysis, requirement analysis, B-specification documents, trade studies, technical white papers, system architecture design documents, interface design documents, system verification and test, system test plans and technical presentations. Technical areas include: LAN switches, routers, transceivers, IP Addressing and System Data Recording technologies. M & M wrote and performed test procedures for FAA Control Center rack equipment. M & M provides principle engineers that support the strategic planning and implementation of the ATM systems. Our responsibilities included: Software requirements/design specification development, Initial Software Development and Change Request (CR) development, design/support through implementation, test and delivery, Problem Tracking Report (PTR) resolution, identification and analysis, off-site support, maintenance and delivery support. M & M Technical Services, INC. also provides IV&V and configuration management support. We used SIMSCRIPT and OPNET to do Software performance metrics analysis.

Lockheed Martin Corporation (Manassas)

M & M Technical Services, INC. provides Senior System Architecture and Engineering support for the development and implementation of the Defense Message System (DMS) Release 3.0. Duties included developing the DMS Release 3.0 Master Test Plan, conducting performance analysis tests on Message Transfer Agents, analyzing the impact of DHCP and DNS in a DMS environment and providing other system architecture/engineering Services. We also provides strategic planning, business case analysis, and technical trade off studies for the DMS program. M & M Technical Services, INC. defined the requirements and created the design documents to develop the Detailed Design Tool (DDT), which automated the process of creating DMS design documents. We developed the DDT prototype ahead of schedule and below cost with functional capabilities that exceeded the requirements. We designed, developed and maintained the DDT. M & M Technical Services, INC. maintained a PTR database and collected development metrics that were used to optimize the development process. Since the successful implementation of the DDT, we developed several extract and integration tools to integrate the DDT with other DMS tools in the Oracle/UNIX environment. In addition, we converted the DDT into a WEB based system with IIS 5.0, Active Server Pages (ASP) and SQL Server 7.0

M & M Technical Services, INC. supports the design and development of an architecture that would allow legacy E-Mail systems to interoperate in a DMS environment. We were also responsible for simulating LAN/WAN E-Mail traffic and predicting performance of DMS in a tactical environment using the COMNET modeling tool.

M & M Technical Services, INC. supports the Sustaining Base Information Services (SBIS) contract which involved maintaining an Oracle/UNIX and AIX system, and maintaining the SBIS technology center. We provided helpdesk support to LM’s marketing personnel.  In addition, we developed a customer-tracking database for use by the marketing organization.  Our responsibilities included developing a Web home page and Microsoft Access database on a Windows NT platform.  We maintained the Technology Center including the interconnectivity between the local buildings and the T1 connectivity between remote facilities. We provides CISCO router and Cabletron HUB maintenance for the facility.  We also maintained classroom facilities for training SBIS personnel.
