Minimum/General Experience: Ten plus years in a commercial software development environment designing or developing large and complex systems in support of routine IT and telecommunication software programs in broad multi-user areas such as acquisition/development of systems and equipment, engineering, financial management, logistics planning and facilities management. Knowledgeable of programming techniques and work processes and familiar with various programming languages, open systems architecture and computer equipment.
Functional Responsibility: Works independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software. May lead a large development team in the design of highly complex software systems. Acts as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Responsible for project completion. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
